HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO MY PAPA BEAR MERCHI RATUNUMAN!! Saya sangat mengasihi anda, dan saya sangat bersyukur untuk semua hal2 yang anda lakukan tuk aku dan saudaraku. Saya rindu anda dan saya semangat untuk ketemu nanti agar saya bisa peluk anda!! Love you tons Papa Bear!!! All the Indonesians here remind me of you and Mom, and it makes me just love the people here so much more.

so last week. We had no investigators because we are white washing. NO idea what we are doing/where we are going in Malang because ya, baru banget. We decided to fast for specifically new investigators...
and this week..
we got 13 new investigators!
No joke, a miracle happened every. single. day.
And I am so so filled with gratitude because I have felt God's hand in my life every single day, and I know that there are miracles that happen every day. With faith, and with sincere actions that are in line with listening to the Spirit, talking to everyone, working with members, etc, Heavenly Father has given us a glorious opportunity to have found and to teach HIs amazing children.
Here are a couple of my favorite miracles this week:
1) On our first day here in Malang, we decided to go to Alun2, a huge park where everyone and their mom is. SO we contacted this really awesome Mas, and he told us we could visit his friend, Mbak Yandel. He gives us super un jelas directions and so we attempt to find her home.. We ended up talking to these men, in which one of them took us to Angakatan Laut, and then we ended up at this noodle shop right, we ended up at the RANDOM noodle shop. and Indos, being the most generous people in the world- this nice man buys my comp and I noodles and we are sitting there enjoying our mie. Sooo yum, and this nice man leaves and goes back to work.
So Sister Rowntree and I are eating mie, and there is this woman across the street. She seemed to glow, and at the same time, we said that we should go talk to her. And so we crossed the street, and we talked to this woman. SHE WAS SO EXCITED to talk about the gospel of Jesus Christ. And right when we asked for her name and number, she told us her name was MBAK YANDEL!!!
WE ARE IN SHOCK BECAUSE WE HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR MBAK YANDEL BUT HAD NO IDEA WHERE WE WERE!!
And the next day at Alun2, we ran into Mas Eko right, and we asked him if this was his friend he asked us to visit- (we had a picture with her) and he said IT WAS!! Sooo crazy and now she is our wonderful investigator!!
and another..
The Elders met a Muslim lady in Malang who actually knows English, and lived in IDAHO (shout out to all my potato bffs- @hermana johnson, @elder hatch @sister lake) SHE LIVED IN IDAHO FOR 15 YEARS! She told us that she has been to Salt Lake and has visited the temple there. She has heard so much about Mormons, and the Book of Mormon, and she wants to study with us. SERIOUSLY SUCH A MIRACLE! She is actually amazing.
AND THATS MY ATTEMPT AT EXPLAINING A WEEK IN MALANG!
