I am currently sitting in Snapy, having the most difficult time getting ahold of the fam, so if you are loyal and are reading this, please please call them or FB them or something! hahahaha STUGGLE IS REAL BUT YAY!

I am happy and alive and well and loving INDO!

What a blessed time to be alive! A few updates from the last week:

1- Sister Fuglsang and I are moving.. again!

2- Only to Jakarta Selatan.. so new apartment and new wards!

3- And we will be the Sister Training Leaders!!

4- How do I feel????????.....We went to McDonalds after to eat our feelings. Nervous! Excited! But ready to do the Lord's Will!!!

As for most weeks on the mission/life, there are times where I feel super super semangat and on cloud 9, and other times where I'm like "I NEED STRENGTH IM ABOUT TO DIE HAHA". I came across a talk in Conference- "That Your Joy May Be Full" and it really struck me with the fact that through it all- there IS joy!

When we focus on Jesus Christ and those around us, we will find joy. In doing so, we need to learn about Christ, have faith in Christ, and emulate Christ, and with that, we learn that it is not our circumstances that define our happiness, but what we focus on.

I am grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ and that He is the source of all healing and joy. Through Jesus Christ and His Atonement, we can change, repent, become better, and there is so much joy in that- knowing that we can one day be like our Savior Jesus Christ. I have found that everyday when I choose to focus on Christ and those around me, rather than myself and my own personal trials, that my burden is lifted and that I am happy when I see others happy! 

All Jesus Christ ever did in life was think about everyone else but Himself. He is the perfect example, and I love Him so much! I am so thankful we get to celebrate His birth this month!

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND SING ALL THE CHRISTMAS SONGS IN THE WORLD BECAUSE IT INDEED IS THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR!!!!!

1 YEAR.. !?! 10 Desember 2017

Happy one year to those who entered the MTC on December 7, 2016! OH HOW TIME FLIES BY!

FLASHBACK: 

7 Dec 2016

I missed my flight to the MTC because the TRAFFIC in California is everyone's enemy! And in waiting for my flight, I enjoyed my last meal of a McDonald's breakfast with my Mama. LOTS OF TEARS AND HUGS! And there at the Provo MTC, was where it allll started!

FLASHFORWARD:

7 Dec 2017

We are sprinting back to the bus way, after an amazing appointment with our investigators. Still new to the area, so of course we went to the wrong one. Late because of TRAFFIC and barely made it to McDonalds to celebrate my one year on the misi, one year for sister fuglsang in indo, and one month for sister inoke in indo. 

I think my first day as a missionary was Heavenly Father's way of foreshadowing that in a year, I would still be facing TRAFFIC and enjoying McDonalds, but in the land of my ancestors. ;) ​​

"Greater blessings and more happiness than you have yet experienced await as you humbly and prayerfully serve the Lord in this labor of love among His children." perfectly concludes how I have felt about this past year. I have only felt a greater love from my Heavenly Father and I have developed an even more profound love for my brothers and sister around me. It is clear to me that the path to true happiness is and only is through the Gospel of Jesus Christ! 

I HAVE A LOT TO SAY BUT NO TIME! MAAF YA!

Our artist friends! We had the chance to teach Rencana Keselamatan to these friends of ours, and although they were'nt immediately interested in hearing the whole message, they listened to a very simple version of it. One of them said, "I saw a light in you when I first saw you. And then you shared your message and the light got brighter.." It is a testament to me that the people we teach here on Earth, will be the same people I will teach in the Spirit World if they still haven';t recieved the Gospel! I AM GRATEFUL FOR HIS PLAN FOR US!
